The Candy Shop Vintage owner sells decades-old jewelry, plus vintage-inspired designs, in her downtown shop and at www.candyshopvintage.com

Q Tell us about your new Café Collection.
A It’s a whimsical collection that includes necklaces, earrings, and bracelets inspired by a vintage French perfume-bottle jewelry set my friend M.K. Quinlan found, plus Charlotte Olympia’s croissant clutch and my standard poodle, Birthday.

Q Do you have a go-to garment for winter evenings out?
A I love a vintage fur, like my new jacket from Seeline Vintage. Even thrown on over jeans, it transforms an outfit into something fun and glamorous.

Q What’s your pick for nail polish?
A I’m currently into Essie’s “Trophy Wife,” a teal hue that’s very similar to one of our new Charleston Rice Bead colors. But if I get a gel manicure—which I do often because my nails take a beating assembling jewelry—I usually go with a dark burgundy.

Q Is there a shoe style you’re loving this season?
A I bought a pair of gold London Rebel ankle boots that are perfect for winter soirees when you want to dress up but also keep your feet warm. ASOS has a similar style called ”Remus”

Q Describe how your personal style translates to your home.
A My husband, John, and I recently renovated a late-1940s house in Wagener Terrace. I’ve found a lot of great vintage furnishings: a long and low 1950s couch, Milo Baughman dining chairs, and a pair of Chinese lacquered chairs.

Q How do you enjoy your off-hours?
A Hanging out with my daughter, Daphne, who’s four; volunteering with L.E.A.R.N. Horse Rescue; vegging out to Netflix; and jogging in Hampton Park.
