The Sullivan’s Island-based founder of resort-wear company Escapada Living shares details on her newest collections, best travel secrets, and more

Q: What can we expect from the Escapada Living fall 2016 collection?
A: It showcases our trademark geometric patterns as well as more abstract prints, pairing bold, rich hues with classic neutrals. We also have a game-day collection, which features lots of fun, easy-to-wear styles in popular college colors—perfect for a tailgate in the fall!

Q: Tell us about your summer vacation.
A: I spent a week in Spain with my nieces, visiting Ibiza and Barcelona for the perfect combination of relaxation and inspiration. I chose Ibiza because I wanted to sail around an exotic island, swim in turquoise waters, drink champagne sangria, listen to Café del Mar music, and watch mango-colored sunsets.

Q: Cocktail of choice?
A: A white cosmopolitan. I discovered it at Café Boulud at The Brazilian Court hotel in Palm Beach and think it’s the best drink in the world! It’s two ounces vodka, one ounce elderflower liqueur, 3/4 ounce lime juice, and 1½ ounces white cranberry juice, served there with a pink orchid frozen in a round ice cube.

Q: Can you share one of your travel beauty secrets?
A: I won’t travel anywhere without Trish McEvoy bronzer. It’s my go-to for looking fresh and put together, even after a long flight.

Q: What shoes are you loving right now?
A: My “Witten” peep-toe wedge sandals by Cordani. They’re versatile, super comfortable when you’re on your feet all day, and transition easily from summer to fall.

Q: Do you have a signature accessory?
A: Long pendent necklaces make such a fun addition to any outfit! This summer, I’ve been loving the white double horn necklace in turquoise and bone by T. Marie Designs.
