Plus, find out Over the Moon’s most-wanted baby registry items

The Over The Moon founder launched her website featuring weddings through a fashion lens after overseeing coverage of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s royal ceremony for vogue.com. Since debuting in 2015, Over The Moon has evolved into a curated shopping site that includes a universal registry for brides, expecting parents, and other milestones.
Meanwhile, the mother of three relocated to the Holy City, where she grew up attending Charleston Day School and Porter-Gaud, and in 2024, opened her pop-up boutique in The Charleston Place. Here, the vogue.com weddings editor shares what she’s wearing for Mother’s Day.
Q: Which spring styles are you excited about incorporating into your wardrobe?
A: I’m a big fan of raffia, so I’m styling my looks with Kayu. Every bag feels like something I’d wear on vacation.
Q: Tell us about an item you have your eye on.
A: I’m in my antiquing era. I love Gregory Blake Sam’s curated shop Wentworth—especially the “Hypnosis Globe”—South Windermere Antiques, Wynsum Antiques, and Village Emporium.
Q: How do you plan to celebrate Mother’s Day? What will you wear?
A: Hopefully, it will be warm enough to spend the day on the beach or the boat—and, if not, we’ll go to brunch. If going to brunch, I’ll be wearing something from our capsule with one of my favorite brands Alexia María.
Q: What is a skin-care product you couldn’t live without?
A: I love Dubose products [from Charleston-based registered nurse Elle Blakeney Moe]. I gifted my team her eye patches last year. They are a wonderful pick-me-up in between Zoom calls!
Q: What local stores do you like to shop?
A: I love to stop by Juliska’s flagship store. I use my “Country Estate Mug” in “Delft Blue” every single morning, and I’m considering completely upgrading my springtime tablescape with their “Sofia” plates, their latest pattern in a kaleidoscopic array of colors. Plus, it’s always such a pleasure working with the husband-and-wife duo, David Gooding and Capucine de Wulf. I’m a big fan of Capucine’s jewelry line CDW, too!
Q: Which items do you encourage new mothers to include on their baby registries?
A: We just debuted the Over The Moon “Over The Top” baby bundle. I wish it existed when I was expecting! The package is filled with all of the beautiful essentials that a parent might want to welcome their baby in style—a fashionable yet functional diaper bag, a Palaka hand-painted hairbrush (left), an embroidered Matouk pillow, a soft-to-the-touch onesie, darling Catherine Owen Design hand-painted shoes, and a sweet bunny.
