Look Linger Love blogger Chassity Evans picks her summer fashion and beauty faves
June 2021

Plus, find out which brands she’s collaborating with this summer

For more than a decade, the lifestyle blogger has invited people to look, linger, and love items featured in her curated lists of home decor, fashion, and accessories, gathering more than 60,000 followers on Instagram. Started as a creative outlet after her children, now 11-year-old daughter, Lilly, and nine-year-old son, Fletcher, were born, Look Linger Love has evolved into a full-time pursuit. This summer look out for brand collaborations with Casuarina Jewelry, sportswear brand Lilla P, and accessories line WKND WYFR. Here, Evans shares what’s in her beach bag and more

Q What are you wearing this summer?
A
I’ve started playing tennis with friends, and I’m really into pieces for the court, especially skorts, like this lightweight one from Nordstrom brand, Zella.

Q What’s in your beach bag?
A
I always have a stick sunscreen, such as this one from Sconset, for easy application on my kids, as well as a beach blanket like this pretty one from Seabird Society, which is based in Charleston.

Q You’re a dress person. What are some of your favorite styles right now?
A
I am 100 percent a dress person! I love longer dresses for windy days, like this Pink City Prints “Rah-Rah” dress in “cornflower,” and mini dresses for a night out. I recently purchased a retro-inspired “Lolita” dress in “azalea bloom pink” by London-based Rixo, and it’s my favorite right now.

Q What do you pull out to wear on those really hot and humid summer days?
A
A Marysia swimsuit [founded in Charleston] so I can hit the pool or the beach!

Q Tell us about your summer skin care and makeup routine.
A
I like to go glowy and minimum with Suntegrity tinted sunscreen, RMS Beauty “Tinted Daily Lip Balm,” and Glossier “Cloud Paint” blush. I love every shade but especially “puff.” And lots of Rahua “Voluminous” dry shampoo.

Q Any recent home renovation projects?
A
We converted our unused screen porch into a sunroom filled with light (and now air conditioning!) that I use as my home gym. It’s a pretty space that I’m inspired to be in every day. I used Charleston-based Mirth Studio tiles on the floor and love the pattern.
