Sunny Collab

Look out for a new line of sunglasses designed for outdoor adventures by the water in a collaboration between Charleston-based Rheos Nautical Eyewear and Greenville-based Southern Tide. The eyewear collection is the first from Southern Tide and combines Rheos’ signature floating frames with the lifestyle brand’s coastal-inspired colorways, such as “Boat Blue” and “Sandbar.” The sunglasses, with styles named after favorite South Carolina rivers and beaches, feature 100-percent UV protection and polarized Nylon Optic anti-scratch lenses. Buyers’ Market

It’s the season for outdoor markets, and shoppers will be excited to return to a favorite and check out a new event. Celadon’s popular summer Sunday “Flea-esta” markets are back on the last Sunday of each month until August, featuring local artists and makers, fresh produce, food trucks, and live music at the home store’s North Charleston warehouse. On June 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., head over to the new Saturday on Simmons market at Mount Pleasant’s Hermosa Jewelry and Brown Fox Coffee, spotlighting a dozen local vendors. Home Accents

Joanna White and her husband, Everett, have expanded Mount Pleasant’s White Gallery and partnered with The Island Bazaar’s Paul Harris to open Warehouse 61 in the former Hocus Pocus location in West Ashley. In the 10,000-square-foot space, customers will find an expanded selection of bold and eclectic furniture, antiques, and accessories, as well as a well-curated collection of contemporary art. In addition, Auctions of Charleston will offer collectible pieces to the highest bidders. [1015 St. Andrews Blvd.,]

Fitness Goals

James Island’s Exemplar Fitness, co-owned by Citadel graduate Joey Welling, is transforming into Ethos Athletic Club and opening a new 21,000-square-foot space downtown on Huger Street this month. The new club, with interior design by Basic Projects, will feature indoor and outdoor high intensity training classes, yoga, personal training, massage therapy, a sauna, and a cafe by Tres Palma Acai.
