TWP opened on King Street in February, introducing its signature button-down shirts and elevated sportwear to Charleston.

Fit for King

New York–based label TWP has arrived on lower King Street, with its elevated take on women’s sportswear, including its signature button-down shirts with names such as “Next Ex,” “Next Morning,” and “My Newest Mistake.” Creative director Trish Wescoat Pound, who grew up in Oklahoma, founded the brand in 2021, blending the “utilitarian spirit of the Midwest” with an edgy, New York sensibility. Working alongside her daughter, stylist Jillian Pound, she designs with an intergenerational approach. Look for the brand’s recently introduced collection of handbags and sun hats. As part of its commitment to female collaboration, TWP partners with Onna House gallery to display and sell works by women artists in its stores. [175 King St., www.twpclothing.com]

Scents of The City

A new Parks Collection collaboration between Charleston Candle Co., Charleston Parks Conservancy, and local artist Rebecca Hoyle offers a sensory love letter to the city’s green spaces. The collection features a trio of hand-poured, soy wax candles that translate local landscapes into scents, including the salty florals of “Colonial Lake,” the soft blooms of Hampton Park’s “Rose Pavilion,” and the fresh herbs of the conservancy’s community gardens in “Gather & Garden.” Hoyle’s custom artworks on the labels reflect the location and scent for each candle. Find the collection at Charleston Candle Co.’s store or its website. Ten percent of sales support the Charleston Parks Conservancy. [218 St. Philip St., www.charlestoncandleco.com]

Holiday Pop-up

Finicky Filly is hosting Chicago-based brand Jenna London for a trunk show from May 9 to 11. Jenna London’s debut jewelry collection draws inspiration from founder Jenna Mendelsohn’s grandmother’s charm bracelet. [303 King St., www.thefinickyfilly.com]
