Plus, Bobbi Brown’s Jones Road Beauty makes its Charleston debut

Founded by former Duke golfer and Ralph Lauren designer Charlie Schaefer, Greyson Clothiers brings its modern performance wear to the lower level of The Nickel Hotel on King Street. The Michigan-based company began in 2015 as a sophisticated golf-focused collection and has evolved into a luxury lifestyle brand for men, women, and children with 10 stores. “Charleston has a unique blend of tradition, creativity, and relaxed sophistication that aligns perfectly with the Greyson ethos,” Schaefer said of his decision to open the downtown location. The store features custom wallpaper, a pool table, and a hidden members-only lounge revealed behind a secret door in the fitting rooms, which includes exclusive products, a private bar with top-tier spirits, a shuffleboard table, and a multisport simulator. Iconic makeup artist Bobbi Brown’s Jones Road Beauty, a leader in the clean beauty space, is joining national beauty retailers Sephora, Bluemercury, and Cos Bar on King Street. Launched in 2020 after Brown stepped away from her namesake brand, Jones Road offers hero products, such as “What The Foundation” and “The Face Pencil,” rooted in the idea that makeup should be less about transformation and more about confidence. The store provides customers with the opportunity to find their perfect shades and learn expert application tips from makeup artists. [ 322 King St., www.jonesroadbeauty.com ]
Nashville-based fragrance house Ranger Station is debuting on King Street, offering customers the brand’s full range of clean, unisex scents, including the popular “Lady Luck,” “High Horse,” and “Two Trick Pony” perfumes. In addition, shoppers will find Ranger Station’s signature hand-poured candles, which come in reusable cocktail glasses with a paired drink recipe, as well as its hand-care collection, diffusers, and room sprays. The brand was founded in 2015 by husband-and-wife duo Steve and Jordan Soderholm, who visited Charleston for the first time for their anniversary several years ago.“There’s something special about the balance here—the laid-back beach energy alongside such a creatively driven city,” Steve said in a statement.
