Late-Night Bite: Butcher & Bee

Late-Night Bite: Butcher & Bee
December 2014

A dear friend says the late-night menu offerings at B&B constitute stoner food. Not as in food that one might shovel down while stoned, but rather, fare that an under-the-influence chef might dream up. While an obvious jest, my pal’s point is that here, dinner comes late (6 p.m. to midnight on Thursday and 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday) and shows up awfully inspired. Bánh mi with fried chicken, fish sauce, and peanuts? Ok! Pastrami wings with creole mustard? Bring it! Buffalo fries you just can’t share? Yes, please. It all makes sense north of the Crosstown, feet away from a Shepard Fairey mural, and across from The Recovery Room. 654 King St., (843) 619-0202, www.butcherandbee.com
