Spring Phoenix

Rate This Recipe: 
  • Lime wedge
  • Arugula-lime salt, for glass rim
  • 1 large ice cube, with an arugula- stuffed habeñero pepper inside (optional)
  • 1 oz. habeñero-infused Blue Head Silver Tequila
  • 1/2 oz. Yellow Chartreuse
  • 1/2 oz. arugula simple syrup
  • 1/2 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 5 oz. Belgian white beer or witbier, Witterkerke preferred
  • 5 dashes lime bitters (see recipe below or Angostura brand)

Run lime wedge around rim of a stemmed beer glass and dip rim into arugula-lime salt.

Add ice cube and liquors, arugula simple syrup, and lime juice into the glass.

Add beer and lime bitters.

Stir well and serve.
