LACED UP: Sideshow Press took inspiration from the lace on Jane’s dress for the pattern on the stationery suite, which also featured a letterpress “JJ” monogram in khaki.
PERFECT PAIR: Justin and Jane’s wedding married the best of the Old South (manners, elegant attire) with the New South (modern palette, relaxed formalities).
ZONE OF NEUTRALITY: Cream-colored hydrangeas and roses plus delicate white dinnerware and sculptural votive holders offset a khaki backdrop that, on its own, could have washed out the reception space.
SOMETHING BLUE: Heather Barrie of gathering—floral + event design tucked low vases of pale blue hydrangeas in a shelf in the bar area for a soft, secondary accent color.
CHAMPAGNE DREAMS: “We used khaki and white stripes on the tablecloths to give everything a little bit of a preppy twist,” says Jane of the dining area, where Jim Smeal’s ivory wedding cake became part of the décor.
