Walk for Water

Across the globe, countless communities travel miles for drinkable H20 on a daily basis. This annual walk is hosted by Water Mission International, a nonprofit that uses sustainable technology to provide clean water to those in need. Each year it invites participants to walk 3.5 miles, bucket in hand, to shed light on the global water crisis. Lend a hand (and a bucket) to the cause. Riverfront Park, 1061 Everglades Ave., North Charleston. Saturday, 9am. $20; $15 student; $5 for child six and up; free for child under six.
