Based on a children’s book written by schoolteacher Barbara Robinson in 1971, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever tells the story of the Herdmans: six kids notorious for causing mischief in their small town. When they hear that the local Sunday school offers snacks, they head down to church and end up scoring lead roles in the holiday Pageant.
