The Party: On Sunday, March 13, supporters decked in ’70s-inspired attire, including bell bottoms and Technicolor glasses, flocked to the lawn of Firefly Distillery for the sixth-annual Lip Sync For Lungs competition. Judges ranked pre-taped performances of costumed local celebrities, including interior designer Mary Welch Fox Stasik and DJ Rehab, lip-syncing to Dolly Parton, the Beastie Boys, and others. Between sets, guests purchased dinner from on-site food trucks—including corn dogs battered with hot Cheetos from Seol Ah’s—and sipped on signature cocktails such as “The OG” made with Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka. Proceeds benefit the American Lung Association, which works to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease, through research, advocacy, and outreach.
