A Fruitful Welcome: The pineapple, the city’s symbol of hospitality, takes pride of place in this fanlight display, including faux apples and pears as well as podocarpus and magnolia leaves, at the Nathaniel Russell House Museum. O Tannenbaum: Each room on the main floor of Boone Hall Plantation & Gardens’ circa-1936 mansion boasts a least one live Christmas tree (December 6-January 3).
