The Party: The 1920s were back, and as roaring as ever, at this Pet Helper’s signature event at the Marriott. Pups, both adoptable and recently adopted, were popular at the ball, garnering many pets from those in attendance. Proceeds from ticket sales, as well as the live auction led by Tom Crawford, amounted to more than $94,000 for this animal shelter, which was established in 1978 as Charleton’s first no-kill organization.
Highlight: One of the pups, Poppy Rose, being adopted soon after the event
Overheard: “So happy to hear Freedom has a home; she’s been through so much!”
Beneficiary: Pet Helpers
