Dominated by a black-and-white marble floor and a monochromatic Stark stair runner, the space draws visitors in with the alluring eyes of Kate Moss in a mixed-media piece, Fashion Breaks My Heart by SN, juxtaposed with an antique Japanese screen from the late 19th century.
Gallerist Glam: The formal living room is a showpiece space, displaying the client’s favorite fashion and art collections.
A dazzling Yves Klein coffee table made with 3,000 sheets of gold leaf sits in front of the Coco Chanel-inspired sofa upholstered in a warm Kirkby fabric and accented by Sabina Fay Braxton and Scalamandré fabric on the throw pillows. A Karl Benjamin oil painting above the sofa adds a pop of color, and a pair of Jean de Merry “Lora” chairs and two ottomans embroidered with Chanel’s favorite flower, camellias, ━ provide more places to perch and admire the decor.

Hang Time: The top floor, a converted attic, is open and modern with a New York loft-style vibe and plenty of spots for the client’s teenage daughter and her friends to gather.
