Bob and Tracy at St. Jude Farm, their sustainable aquaculture business in the ACE Basin
Doran adventures always include many four-legged family members. For years, Tracy and Bob have bred and raised Irish setters—including four national field trial champions—and now English setter Daisy, shown here, enjoys an ACE Basin boat outing.
On a prime intersection of the upscale Daniel Island planned community, where CEOs live in multimillion-dollar golf-course homes, the Humanities Foundation created Seven Farms, a 72-unit apartment complex for families who earn below 60 percent of area median income. “All people deserve housing that’s safe, accessible, and attractive,” says Tracy Doran, who believes that affordable housing should be integrated into vibrant communities, not relegated to outskirts or less desirable neighborhoods.
