Part of The Charleston Festival’s annual lineup, this series of light luncheons invites attendees to enjoy views of the Battery while learning about engaging historical topics. Hear stories of influential Lowcountry women, including indigo farmer Eliza Lucas Pinckney, as well as master craftsmen and artists whose work can be seen today. Other lecture topics include the history of tea in colonial America, Native American archaeology, and an examination on the ties between race and public health.
