See a holiday performance in an ornate 2,000-piece “mirror tent” when a circa-1947 Belgian spiegeltent—made of mirrors, stained glass, and hand-painted wood—travels to the South for the first time and sets up on the lawn of the Gaillard Center. The anchoring show, “Cracked Nuts!,” is a family-friendly circus-like take on The Nutcracker, featuring acrobats, aerial artists, and jugglers, produced by Las Vegas-based company Stinky Monkey. Adults can check out three late-night Gritty Glitter burlesque performances, while the whole family can visit Santa on December 4. In addition, the tent will host local musicians, including country-folk band She Returns From War on December 15 and Grammy-award winners Charlton Singleton and Quiana Parler, along with singer Emily Curtis on December 30.
