Spend the day with your pups at Riverfront Park for this new event supporting the Charleston Animal Society. Start with a 5K “Race for the Rescues” or a “5 K9 Fun Run” with your four-legged friend. Stay to catch Animal Planet personality and celebrity dog trainer Travis Brorsen onstage for his “Travis & Friends” show, and don’t miss the famous DockDogs competition in the Canine Sports Arena. Attendees also will have the opportunity to adopt a new family member. Food trucks will serve up local eats, and Rescue Brew from Palmetto Brewing Co. will be available in the beer garden.
