HOLIDAY PARADE OF BOATS

Watch boats bedecked in string lights as they cruise from the Cooper River, through Charleston Harbor, and down the Ashley River at this annual holiday cavalcade. Snag a spot along the waterfront (The Battery, Waterfront Park, and Mount Pleasant Waterfront Park Pier are all choice locales) or gussy up your own boat and join the parade. For those preferring a higher vantage point, the USS Yorktown will host a viewing party aboard their flight deck; the $20 ticket includes admission, live holiday music, a visit from Santa, and hot cocoa. Locations vary.
