“A Lowcountry Perspective on Universal Themes”

You’ve seen his artwork sprawling across buildings (in murals such as Darwin’s Secret in Avondale) and shrunken onto Holy City Brewing cans. But what you may not have taken in are Sean Williams’s latest forged metal sculptures and paintings, many depicting local topography and wildlife (like Ali G, above), while weaving in themes of mystery, exploration, and spirituality. The exhibit also features a commissioned series in which Williams transformed medical data into large abstract paintings. Revealed Art Gallery, 119-A Church St. Saturday, 4-6 p.m. Free.
