Youth Marathon

In this modified version of the 14th annual Charleston Marathon, kids ages seven to 17 are encouraged to get moving. Logging their first 25 miles in the weeks prior to race day, young participants complete the final 1.2 miles of the marathon alongside fellow runners, receiving a medal and T-shirt at the end of the course to commemorate the achievement. Starting line near North Charleston High School, 4720 Jenkins Ave., North Charleston.
