Charleston Walk to End Alzheimer's

An estimated 5.5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s, and that number is growing fast. Support the Alzheimer’s Association during this community stroll through North Charleston‘s Riverfront Park. You can further help the cause by fundraising—the Walk to End Alzheimer‘s is the world‘s largest event to fight the disease. Participants who garner $100 receive prizes like a commemorative T-shirt and Promise Garden Flower, each color-coded to represent how the walker has been affected by the disease. Riverfront Park, 1001 Everglades Ave., North Charleston. Saturday, 9am. Free; fundraising is encouraged. (846)614-6606, www.alz.org
