The popular, 200-foot Snake Run leads into a nine-foot-deep pocket; the terrain—designed and built by Team Pain Skate Parks—has something for everybody, from pros to novices.
Visitors can take in the action from the viewing deck off the main building, which houses a small skate shop, concessions, and restrooms.

BMX Freestyle Rider Case Taylor., who won the 2014 Monster Energy Recon Tour amateur division, rides the park most Tuesdays when it is open only to bikes, but wishes he could be out there more. “The park is amazing, a great place for local BMX riders to ride and train,” he says.
Park manager Josh McFadden in the pro bowl; the avid skater says he found his “dream job” when he was hired to help launch the park last fall. “I love being fully immersed in skateboarding all day, every day,” the College of Charleston grad notes. “This facility is quickly becoming a breeding ground for the next generation of skaters. It serves as a safe place where young people can come and practice their skills and interact with their peers.”
