Part of the fourth annual Charleston Jazz Festival, celebrated vocalist Nnenna Freelon joins the Charleston Jazz Orchestra for an unforgettable performance, New Standard Time: The Great American Songbook. A six-time Grammy Award nominee, Freelon is considered one of today’s most highly acclaimed female jazz vocalists. In addition to starring in the Vegas show Georgia on My Mind: Celebrating the Music of Ray Charles, the singer also toured with Charles himself, as well as a number of other notable jazz artists including Ellis Marsalis and Al Jarreau.
