This entertaining fundraiser’s “Rhinestones and Rockstars” theme is sure to elicit impressive performances from local personalities, such as health advocate Maria Gmitro, Glow Girl founder Narcisa Maura, and artist Susan Perkins, as they adopt the personas of their favorite country or rock stars to raise money for the American Lung Association. Since the inaugural event in 2017, the nonprofit has raised almost $1 million for the nearly 650,000 South Carolina residents suffering from lung diseases, such as asthma, lung cancer, and COPD.
