Located in Gallery 1056, the center space at Redux Contemporary Art Center, this solo exhibit from artist Kris Hanson focuses on the feminine archetype of ruling female warriors who “embodied courage, strength, and persistence.” This display uses found materials to create three-dimensional objects accompanied by a selection of black-and-white images showing “warrior queens” from throughout history.
