In celebration of its 45th year, Charleston Stage is bringing back its popular production of JFK and Inga Binga, based on the true story of the 1942 affair between the then-Naval intelligence officer and would-be president (played by Raymond Cronley) and former beauty queen and alleged German spy (played by Eliza Knode) at the Fort Sumter Hotel. The farcical play premiered in 2012 and was written and directed by Charleston Stage founder and artistic director Julian Wiles, who has announced plans to retire in May. The story is drawn from the secret files of FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, whose undercover agents listened from the hotel room next door. Dock Street Theater, 135 Church St. Days vary, 2 & 7:30 p.m. $75-$35. (843) 577-7183, www.charlestonstage.com
