This popular North Charleston music festival curated by Charleston-based folk duo Shovels & Rope (Cary Ann Hearst and Michael Trent) is back again for a third year. An exciting lineup is planned, including headlining performers like Leon Bridges, The Head and the Heart, Dr. Dog, Lord Huron, Jenny Lewis, Mitski, and festival organizers Shovels & Rope. The two-day festival features 22 musical acts on two stages alongside tasty meals from chef-curated dining experiences and local food trucks. Kick off the musical weekend with the Low Tide Social on April 12, the eve of the festival, which features a Lowcountry boil from The Smoking Pot and a preview performance from local act Shrimp Records Family Band.
