TIP: Here come the lovebirds! Backyard species will soon begin building nests, so ready their accommodations. First, tap on the house and listen for activity, then shine a flashlight inside to check for eggs or chicks. Take the structure apart and remove any old nesting materials. Scrub all over with a solution of one part bleach to nine parts water. Rinse well and let the abode dry before you reassemble.
