The Charleston Library Society hosts best-selling author Marie Benedict to discuss her latest novel, Daughter of Egypt (St. Martin’s Press), to be released this month. The book follows adventurer Evelyn Herbert, who becomes intent on forging her own legacy by uncovering the hidden legend of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut after her father discovers Tutankhamun’s tomb.
