For a limited time, see a silk gown worn by Eliza Lucas Pinckney, a woman famous for revolutionizing colonial agriculture in South Carolina through her influence on the indigo industry, at The Charleston Museum. In honor of the museum’s 250th anniversary, the delicate garment will be exhibited in the Loeblein Silver Gallery, along with other personal items.
