CHARLESTON’S SAINT PATRICK’S DAY PARADE

Bring the whole family (decked out in shamrocks and green beads, of course) to watch Charleston’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The festive procession begins at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church on the corner of Radcliffe and Saint Philip streets and ends at the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist on Broad Street. Step dancers, musicians, floats, and fire trucks file through the downtown peninsula, ending with a tricolor flag raising at City Hall and the singing of the Irish National Anthem. St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 134 Saint Philip St. Saturday, 10am.
