Folk musician Ani Difranco has released more than 20 albums since 1990, all under her own record label, Righteous Babe, and recently made her Broadway debut as Persephone in Hadestown. Her most recent album, 2024’s tongue-in-cheek Unprecedented Sh!t, features songs such as “More or Less Free,” “Baby Roe,” and “You Forgot to Speak” that comment on contemporary women’s issues.
