Organized by the North Charleston Fire Department to honor those lost during the September 11 attacks, this 4.5 mile walk begins at the corner of East Bay and Grace Bridge streets, crosses the Ravenel Bridge, and ends with a ceremonial bell ringing at Patriots Point. Participants will have free access to the Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum as well as a memorial service which will take place on the flight deck of the USS Yorktown.
