While much of history focuses on the men behind Charleston’s great houses, the Women’s History Tour flips the script by highlighting instead the lives of the ladies at the heart of the Joseph Manigault House. From Judith Gilton Manigault, a brave Huguenot who fled from persecution in France, to the women who lived in the home during its time as a WWII USO and Red Cross training facility, the untold stories are sure to fascinate and inspire. Joseph Manigault House, 350 Meeting St. Sunday, 2-2:30pm. Free with admission: $12. (843)722-2996, www.charlestonmuseum.org
