Let’s Talk Shop
From a swanky jewelry boutique opening to trunk shows aplenty—there are tons of gems for brides this November

WRITTEN BY Melissa Bigner & Evans Craddock

Paulo Geiss Jewelry is no stranger to the Lowcountry wedding scene. The family-owned business has been in the Holy City since 1984, when they first opened their shop a few doors down from Rainbow Row. Filled with high-end jewelry that’s perfect for brides-to-be, couples, and gals who are just plain Jonesin’ for some bling, the Geiss crew has most recently partnered up with Italian jeweler-to-the-stars Roberto Coin to open yet another swanky boutique.

Located in the heart of King Street’s antique district, the Roberto Coin Boutique for Paulo Geiss Jewelers will offer a variety of looks great for spicing up your rehearsal dinner togs or adding glamour to a night out on your honeymoon. Look for colorful gemstone pieces, pendants and rings galore, and a few yellow-threaded accessories—all of which have made Demi Moore, Ashley Judd, and Salma Hayek fans. Want a closer look? Stop by their grand opening party on Wednesday, November 3rd from 5-7 p.m. for light hors d’oeuvres and Paolo’s Gelato. Yum!

Jewels aren’t the only things dazzling the Charleston bridal shopping scene this month. Still on the hunt for that gown? Pop by one of the many upcoming trunk shows to find one that makes you say, “I do.” From a super sale at LulaKate (5 percent off orders on select fabrics through November 15th) to the Coren Moore trunk show at Bella Bridesmaid November 19-20, there are plenty of opportunities waiting.
