This first-time event is a three-part oratorio, originally written by George Fredrick Handel, that follows the story of Judas Maccabaeus, an ancient Jewish priest who leads a revolt against the oppressive Selecucid Empire. Performed by the King‘s Counterpoint group, this show also welcomes special guest appearances by members of The North Carolina Baroque Chamber Orchestra.
