JUDAS MACCABAEUS

This first-time event is a three-part oratorio, originally written by George Fredrick Handel, that follows the story of Judas Maccabaeus, an ancient Jewish priest who leads a revolt against the oppressive Selecucid Empire. Performed by the King‘s Counterpoint group, this show also welcomes special guest appearances by members of The North Carolina Baroque Chamber Orchestra. Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim, 90 Hassel St. Saturday, 7:30pm.
