“Artist, Scientist, Explorer: Mark Catesby in the Carolinas"

Best known for his book The Natural History of Carolina, Florida and the Bahama Islands, Mark Catesby was also a notable artist and scientist who often illustrated the indigenous animals that he discovered. For only the second time in the U.S., this exhibit showcases his delicate watercolor works.
