Playwright Lucy Prebble tells the story of the defunct American energy company Enron and the scandal that led to its collapse in the early 2000s. Performed by College of Charleston theater students, this play follows former CEO Jeffery Skilling as he manipulates company finances and sparks international chaos when Enron is forced to declare the largest bankruptcy in American history. Filled with greed, corruption, and power-hungry corporate leaders, this surreal interpretation of actual events bears resemblance to some operations in today‘s energy and financial sectors.
