Warrior Surf Foundation Surfboard Auction & Raffle

The Event: Supporters of the Warrior Surf Foundation gathered for the organization’s annual celebration supporting the physical and mental well-being of veterans. Local surfboard shapers donated handcrafted boards, while Lowcountry artists reimagined retired boards as one-of-a-kind works of art. Between bids, attendees browsed raffle items donated by area businesses, jammed to tunes from DJ Pauly, and chowed down on bites from Bohemian Bull, the event’s homebase since 2016. This year’s auction surpassed its $25,000 goal—enough to support five veterans through the nonprofit’s 12-week surf therapy program.

Highlight: Charleston’s surf, art, and business communities coming together to celebrate more than a decade of no-cost programming centered around the healing power of the ocean.
