Mindful Practice: “I’m a massive yoga addict. I go to Grayce Yoga on King Street, and I love The Works yoga studio on Meeting Street as well.”Shop Dog: “Teddy’s a sheepadoodle that I got right before we launched Sèchey. He’s in the store more often than not, and people recognize him on the street.”Zero-proof Tipple: “I’m a Rasasvada Black Ginger fan—I even put it in coffee. It has plants and mushrooms, which improve your mood.”Wee Dram: “I’m very judicious about what and when I imbibe, but when I do, it’s with a really great Scotch, like a 12-year-old Glenlivet, or red wine.”Where it’s Warm: “I don’t do cold, so I go to Mexico every New Year’s with one of my best friends from Los Angeles…anywhere there is a beach!”After reevaluating her relationship with alcohol, Emily Heintz drew on her background in retail and e-commerce to open Séchey, a boutique that carries a wide range of alcohol-free alternatives, and is now partnering with Target for a store-within-a-store concept.
