”Visual Vigil”

Artist Susan Perkins’s latest exhibition of work of ink on paper chronicles the lives lost and communities affected by mass violence from 1903 to present day. Perkins began this project in 2015 after the Mother Emanuel AME massacre, and hopes that her exhibition will prompt discussions among members in the community about gun violence and reform. The City Gallery at Waterfront Park, 34 Prioleau St. Tuesday-Friday, 11am-6pm; Saturday & Sunday, 12-5pm. Free. (843)958-6484, www.citygalleryatwaterfrontpark.com
