“THE LAWN PARTY: FROM SATIN TO SEERSUCKER”

Get a new perspective on American outdoor fashion in this Charleston Museum exhibit exploring leisurely lawn parties through garments from the 19th century to the present. Organized by fibers ranging from silks and synthetics to cotton and linen, each garment is displayed within a different occasion and accompanied by a small vignette. The Charleston Museum, 360 Meeting St. Monday-Saturday, 9am–5pm; Sunday, noon–5pm. $12; $10 youth ages 13-17; $5 children ages 3-12; free for children three & under.
