The Charleston Museum Oyster Roast

Survey the Stono River while shucking oysters, eating barbecue, and supporting the Charleston Museum at their annual BYOB oyster roast at the Dill Sanctuary. In addition to the feast, archeologist Ron Anthony will lead a discussion on the excavations held at Stono Plantation, which is one of four plantation sites within the Dill Sanctuary. Bring your chairs and blankets to settle in after the big meal as you enjoy music by the Paul Quattlebaum Jazz Band. Dill Sanctuary, 1163 Riverland Dr., James Island.
