Reindeer Run

Dress up in festive attire to run this popular 5K that starts at Joseph P. Riley Jr Park and winds through downtown before finishing at home plate. Awards are given for the best costume as well as race winners, and runners are invited to bring pups and strollers. For those who don’t wish to participate in-person, there’s also a virtual run. The 30th annual race is the largest fundraiser hosted by the Charitable Society of Charleston, with proceeds divided between MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital and the Charitable Society, which provides grants to local nonprofits that benefit children and elderly residents.
