The Party: Pro athletes, musicians, and other celebrities arrived at the Cassique Clubhouse & Golf Club for the fifth annual golf tournament benefiting the HEARTest Yard. The Charlotte-based health-care support program was created by former Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen and his wife, Kara, for families of babies born with congenital heart disease. On Sunday night, guests mingled at the River Course Clubhouse before a live auction and concert featuring Hootie & the Blowfish’s Mark Bryan and Ed Roland of Collective Soul. On Monday, more celebs—including former Carolina Panthers Luke Kuechly, Jonathan Stewart, and Wesley Walls and NFL broadcasters Kevin Burkhardt and Cris Collinsworth—teed off on the picturesque River Course. The HEARTest Yard has raised more than $1.5 million for the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital since the event’s inception in 2022, which allows more heart families throughout the Lowcountry to receive the care and support they need.
