Spend your Sunday paddling among friends and wildlife alike on Captain Sams Spit along the Kiawah River. Led by two naturalists, the tour takes you along the spit, or barrier island tip, where participants learn about the 10 year fight by the Coastal Conservation League and the South Carolina Environmental Law Project to conserve and protect the land. After the tour, head over to Sidi Limehouse's home on John's Island for lunch and entertainment. Mingo Point, 876 Kiawah Island Pkwy., Kiawah Island.
