“MANNING WILLIAMS: REINVENTING NARRATIVE PAINTING”

The Gibbes Museum of Art’s latest exhibit features 30 pieces from the prolific career of realist painter  Manning Williams, who died in 2012. A Charleston native and College of Charleston graduate, Williams is known for his emphasis on storytelling and often was inspired by Lowcountry landscapes. Museum guests must limit groups to three people or immediate family members, and a limited number of tickets will be available to ensure social distancing protocols.
